The SBK is launching the largest political care project in the last 100 years with the federal popular initiative "For strong care". The popular initiative calls for the recognition and promotion of nurses as a central component of healthcare. The initiative obliges the Confederation and cantons to ensure that there are enough trained nurses and to enshrine the independence of the nursing profession in law.
